Hungry Bear Enjoys Russian Bodies

Well it's good to see you're so happy with yourself, don't you know what you just ate?!

After a scorching Russian summer in 2010, bears had grown so desperate for food that they started digging up cemeteries and eating corpses. Their usual diet of berries and vegetables has diminished and many bears have been forced to look for food elsewhere.

Two women in the Russian village if Vezhnya Tchova witnessed a horrific scene of a bear eating a body in a local cemetery. After scaring it into the woods, they found the corpse’s clothing scattered around the tombstones. Over the past two years, there have been two similar incidents reported in the area. Bears are natural scavengers and quick learners; one bear even learned how to open a coffin and taught the others.
