The USS Arizona Memorial stands above the sunken vessel and her fallen sailors, serving as a reminder of their sacrifice and commitment.

In Honolulu, Hawaii, The USS Arizona Memorial can be found floating on the waters of Pearl Harbor. The World War II memorial was dedicated to the 1,177 crewmen who were killed when their ship, the USS Arizona was sunk by Japanese bombers on December 7, 1941. The memorial, dedicated in 1962, is visited by more than one million people annually. Accessible only by boat, it crosses above the middle of the sunken hull of the battleship without touching it.
